9/25 English Class

Today's English class really reminded me of how different people's interpretations are towards stories. I feel as though interpretations are what make "nontelling" stories much more interesting. You get to learn of a different point of view, that may or may not affect how you read the story. I really enjoyed the Hills Like White Elephants story by Ernest Hemingway, not only because I had previously read it before but because it's the type of piece that's left wide open for the reader to interpret. Our class' discussion gave me much more insight to the piece because of my classmates ways of thinking of the story.
